About Another Time

The name "Another Time" has been my signature of sorts for a long time. I have always been a lover of old, old times, old things, and older people. My fascination with the past and things from the past has been with me as long as I can remember. I use to spend hours hanging around my grandmother, watching her work from dawn to dusk, and in the evening I would climb up into her lap in the old mission style platform rocker and question her about everything and anything I could think of. I can still hear her say "They don't make things the way they use to. In "another time", they cared about what they made and how they made it". She was right, they did care more. Hence my passion for things of "another time" and why I choose the name "Another Time" for my business.

I have spent the last twenty years extensively researching and learning all I could about antiques, collectibles and vintage articles. For many years I have devoted a great deal of my energies and time to this business and it is now my desire to use this medium to return to the world some of the magic and knowledge I have acquired through this endeavor. These pages will hold as much knowledge as I have the time to gather it. I will share as many trade secrets and tips as I can remember to include. My aim is to educate and to have fun doing it.
