Hand painted wood folk art Whimsical Calico Cat


This adorable hand painted wood folk art figurine features a whimsical multi-colored Calico Tabby cat with copper wire whiskers and a copper wire accented tail. This figurine is 3 dimensional and completely hand painted out of solid rough sewn or carved wood. These have a wonderful handcrafted country FOLK-ART style to them with a slightly distressed look. The cat measures 5” high and is about 8 “ across. The bottom is signed by the artist. The signature is hard to read but it looks like McCaty or McCarty. The art piece is in excellent condition. The art work dates to the 1990’s.
